The Fair Tax Monitor (FTM) is a unique evidence-based advocacy tool that identifies the main bottlenecks within tax systems and provides strong evidence for advocacy work at national and international level. The tool allows for a comparison of tax policies and practices in different countries, using a standardized methodology and unified research approach thanks to jointly developed common research framework. The 2015 pilot edition relies on data and analyses presented in the country reports from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Senegal and Uganda.
On the 10th, 11th and 15th of December the Uganda, Senegal and Bangladesh CRAFT country teams launched the country reports of the Fair Tax Monitor in their countries. As soon as the final edits are done, we will post the country reports as well as the composite report that summarizes the results of the country studies online on this site.
From Thursday 17th of December onwards the revamped website and the visual representation of the results in the online Fair Tax Monitor tool will go live. We hope it will be helpful in your work promoting Fair Taxation and we are looking forward to your feedback.
